I'm Patricia Vinant.

I'm an EDHEC alumni and have spent over 20 years in California.

I'm also the US West Coast country manager for EDHEC Business School.

Additionally, I serve as the executive director for EDHEC America, a non-profit corporation established in 2021 and headquartered in Berkeley, California.

I oversee eight key missions on the US West Coast:

  • Managing exchange students and those attending a one-year program.
  • Cultivating relationships with our university partners.
  • Developing corporate relations to support internships and job placements.
  • Organising alumni activities and engagement.
  • Supporting entrepreneurship initiatives.
  • Coordinating programs such as executive education, summer programs, and learning expeditions.
  • Enhancing EDHEC's brand recognition in the United States.
  • Leading fundraising activities for EDHEC Giving, the philanthropic arm of EDHEC Business School.

First, I manage 150 students per year, mainly in two programs:

The BBA in Global Business, where students spend the first year in Nice, then come to UCLA for the second year before going to Singapore.

We organize activities such as beach clean-ups, incubator tours, corporate visits, joint events with alumni, and career panels.

By providing networking opportunities, these events help our students with job searches and internships.

For the GETT program, students spend the final year at UC Berkeley after studying in France and in Korea.

I work with the students on their group master's project, helping them align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Second, our office is located in Berkeley, which sits at the center of a very dynamic ecosystem with start-up companies, universities, venture capitalists, and major tech companies.

Finally, since 2021, we have also initiated fundraising activities through the EDHEC America non-profit corporation, leveraging our alumni network and corporate sponsors.

We just added a new country manager to develop EDHEC America's activities on the US East Coast.

In conclusion, our California programs are part of a three-continent learning experience, providing our students with a truly transformative journey.

EDHEC America's California Education Hub provides impact skills for the future generation of leaders, in line with our new EDHEC strategic plan, Generations 2050.
