EDHEC Business School is recruiting an International Recruitment Manager for China H/F.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure sales activities are aligned with the budget, the quantitative and qualitative objectives defined by the Head of Recruitment, Senior International Recruitment Manager for Chinese Market and Head of Development.
  • Assess and guide candidates through the application process by understanding their aspirations, profiles, and goals using various communication methods, such as email, WeChat, online meetings, and phone calls.
  • Utilize CRM to manage leads and perform daily recruitment activities. Ensure the conversion of incoming requests at the qualification stage into actual applications, and ultimately into closed deals, in accordance with the recruitment and admissions processes.
  • Develop and implement action plans as needed to meet recruitment objectives.
  • Manage social media platforms, particularly WeChat, to facilitate recruitment activities
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with local universities, local Campus France offices or public organisations and work closely with local country manager.
  • Select and attend virtual and in-person events (fairs, information sessions, networking events) to boost programmes locally and optimize business development opportunities
  • Maintain strong relationships with reporting and functional counterparts: Programme directors, International department, Head of Recruitment, Recruitment managers, Head of Admissions, Admissions managers, Head of international marketing, Career services, Programme coordination, Alumni office
  • Prepare monthly reports on competitors, market trends, career opportunities, and economic conditions in China to ensure a coherent recruitment strategy.

 

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred, with at least 3 years of similar experience in recruitment or admissions or customer service or higher education.
  • Fluency in English is required, proficiency in French is a plus.
  • Work experience in China for a French, European or Chinese higher education institution is strongly preferred
  • Experience with a CRM or CMS system is desirable
  • Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks, and work autonomously in remote environments.
  • Outstanding oral communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams etc.
