Scientific Infra & Private Assets Ltd (SIPA) is an ESMA-registered index provider, specialised in private markets, with a focus on private equity and infrastructure. SIPA provides asset-level indices and metrics on the risk and performance of investments in unlisted companies and their debt. Today, users of this data include major investors, asset managers and consultants around the world and represent USD1Tr of private assets under management (AUM).

 

SIPA is the corporate arm of EDHEC Business School’s EDHEC Infrastructure & Private Assets Research Institute (EIPA).

 

We are now hiring a Marketing Operations Manager in our London office.

 

Marketing Operations Manager

This is an opportunity to join a growing and global team that is bringing new and disruptive products to the private asset investment sector with previously unavailable data that tracks the performance and risks of private markets.

 

Position overview

As the Marketing Operations Manager, you will report to the Marketing Director and play a crucial role in promoting SIPA’s brand and products. You will execute all aspects of marketing strategy, content creation, and communication, ensuring our offerings reach and resonate with investors and other key stakeholders.

 

Main Responsibilities

1. Execute Marketing Strategy:

  • Implement comprehensive marketing campaigns tailored to institutional investors, asset managers and other market stakeholders to drive awareness and adoption of SIPA’s products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with business objectives.

2. Coordinate the Creation of Engaging Content and Drive Communication:

  • In collaboration with the internal subject matter experts, ensure high-quality production of materials such as brochures, case studies, newsletters, and white papers to promote SIPA’s products.
  • Manage digital marketing efforts, including the website, social media, SEO/SEM, email campaigns, and analytics to maximise reach, audience engagement and lead generation.

3. Strengthen Market Presence through Events and Partnerships:

  • Organise and manage participation in industry conferences, webinars, and events to build SIPA’s brand visibility.
  • Establish relationships with journalists, media outlets, publications, and trade associations within the private equity and infrastructure investment industry.

 

Requirements for the Role

  • Post-graduate degree in marketing or communication.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing in the financial industry, preferably with an index or data provider.
  • Proven expertise in implementing marketing strategies and campaigns, especially through social media and webinars.
  • Exceptional proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g. SEO, SEM), web and content creation tools (graphic, audio, and video), and office software suites.
  • Solid communication and writing skills.
