Foster international mindsets at EDHEC

Through a strategy underpinned by solid academic partnerships, a diverse range of mobility options and strong global recognition, EDHEC offers rewarding international experiences that open students’ openmindness, different learning methods, the complexity of the world and cultural diversity.

International exposure at EDHEC:  full immersion in cultural diversity

EDHEC Business School leverages a network of over 300 partnerships with leading academic institutions around the world. Thanks to these collaborations, students can benefit from immersive learning experiences combining cultural exploration and academic excellence. These opportunities help students develop a range of key competencies, including personal autonomy, understanding of global issues and insight into the complexity of modern societies.

With international students accounting for 35% of student headcount and representing 34 nationalities, EDHEC stands out for its thoroughly multicultural academic environment. In addition to being a genuine driver of intellectual exchange, this diversity broadens horizons, fosters critical thinking and forges insightful leaders capable of acting with agility and discernment in today’s complex world.

At EDHEC Business School, all our students must complete at least one semester abroad to earn a Bachelor's or Master's degree.

There are several ways to fulfill this requirement: a study period abroad, a work experience outside France, or a Global Impact Project.

This strategy is built on strong partnerships, a global presence, and a commitment to providing students with transformative international experiences.

Rather than establishing academic campuses abroad, we focus on building leading partnerships with universities worldwide.

We also offer itinerant programs such as the Global Master in Management, the GETT Programme, and the Global BBA Programme.

This approach allows our students to immerse themselves in different cultures and pedagogical methods at partner institutions, enhancing their maturity, cross-cultural skills, autonomy, and understanding of global issues.

Our international strategy also includes key internal services.
For example, our International Student Office supports all international students at EDHEC.

For BBA and Master's students, the Student Abroad Office manages the selection and placement of students for exchanges and double degrees, both incoming and outgoing.

Finally, the International Development Service oversees the development of new partnerships and Global Impact Projects and manages EDHEC's country managers in San Francisco, Boston, London, Singapore, Mumbai, and Shanghai.

EDHEC is deeply committed to expanding its programs worldwide, including BBA, Master's, full-time MBA, PhD in Finance, Executive Education, and Summer Programs.
This commitment extends to recruiting global talents and creating international career opportunities for our graduates.

By collaborating with global enterprises in France and abroad, our faculty plays a crucial role in EDHEC’s international reputation through research publications, key conferences, and engagement with the scientific community, business sectors, and society at large.

The EDHEC Risk Institute, for instance, has been a prominent player in international finance and asset management for over 15 years.

EDHEC already stands out in its international strategy for its immersive and transformative objectives, prestigious global partnerships, and strategic international impact.

I am also a strong advocate for developing new international and innovative collaborations in entrepreneurship, where incubators worldwide can exchange best practices, expertise, and resources for start-ups.

For example, we have launched Innova Europe in partnership with ESMT in Berlin and Polimi in Milan, Italy.

This competition supports start-ups with a positive impact, and we have also established strategic relationships with Skydeck at UC Berkeley, a leading incubator in California.

Entrepreneurship could be the next frontier for innovative international cooperation between top business schools.
