For me, a former EDHEC student, the parable of the Talents in the Bible is a profound source of inspiration: to give back freely what one has received. We could also compare our short life to a relay race where we are asked to pass on the baton that the athletes hand over to each other and not to keep it for ourselves.

Today, this "baton" here in the form of a scholarship, is to grant this opportunity to young people to allow them to learn, to grow, to bear fruit which in turn will produce a new tree.

This donation by the Novandi Foundation, which I chair, is a fitting tribute to the students.

I encourage EDHEC alumni to support further education, because the strength of a country is its youth and youth’s most powerful asset is its education.

Long live EDHEC!
