Students wishing to pursue their professional aspirations in the media and follow careers as information or media experts will be able to study for a double degree from EDHEC and ESJ Lille, France’s leading journalism school, as from September 2021.
Combining business culture with media knowledge
Thanks to the double admissibility agreement signed between the two institutions – covering the competitive entrance exams for the ESJ Lille Master and the EDHEC Master, respectively – students will enjoy the benefits of teaching that excels from both EDHEC and ESJ Lille as part of a cross-curriculum.
After a first year spent in their school of origin, ESJ Lille students will join the Business Management track of the EDHEC Master 1 to acquire a business and management culture. After the first year of their Master, EDHEC students will continue their studies at ESJ Lille where they will develop in-depth knowledge of new media, along with the tools for understanding and decrypting the news. Internships related to the media and information sectors will see them gain practical experience and further enhance their employability.
“Through this double degree with ESJ Lille, we are offering our students a multi-disciplinary study path that excels and is designed to broaden their professional horizons. The agreement underlines our aim of encouraging cross-disciplinary learning programmes with first-rate academic institutions. It also reflects our firm belief that knowledge of complementary disciplines is of key importance for training agile managers, capable of acting and transforming tomorrow’s world”
underlines Benoît Arnaud, Dean of Programs at EDHEC Business School
