EDHEC confirms its position as the n°1 French business school in the U-Multirank European ranking
The U-Multirank ranking, implemented by the European Commission, aims to provide an alternative to traditional rankings. It assigns institutions a grade ranging from "A" (very good) to "E" (weak) on 29 performance indicators covering criteria like research, teaching & learning, international orientation, knowledge transfer and regional engagement.
U-Multirank is run by a group of European education institutions, including Erasmus and the Centre for Higher Education (CHE) in Germany.
In 2020, and for the fourth year running, EDHEC Business School obtained the highest number of points among French business schools (cumulative points and ‘A’ grades). EDHEC was ranked 1st for ‘business’ in the U-Multirank 2020 ranking.
“This ranking confirms the strength of EDHEC’s position among European business training offerings. What I most retain from this evaluation is the quality of EDHEC’s teaching, which responds equally well to the expectations of business leaders and companies, and to those of a young generation that is engaged, internationally-oriented and primed with new aspirations for the future”,underlines Emmanuel Métais, Dean of EDHEC Business School.
French schools and universities generally performed better than average. 77% of French institutions scored above average for international orientation, 71% for learning & teaching, 63% for knowledge transfer and half for research and regional engagement.
This year’s U-Multirank ranking once again shone light on EDHEC for the quality of its student experience, its international orientation, its co-publication of research with the business world and the latter’s involvement in the production of the School’s applied research.
