The Leadership Development Chair is pleased to welcome, in person and online, Sabine Ruaud, professor at EDHEC, for a conference in French entitled: "Le Leadership par la couleur - comment les entreprises utilisent la couleur pour avoir de l'impact".
On Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 6:00 pm, the Leadership Development Chair team welcomes Sabine Ruaud, EDHEC Professor, for a free conference, in French, entitled "Le Leadership par la couleur - comment les entreprises utilisent la couleur pour avoir de l'impact".
Colour is proving to be a real strategic lever for companies, a source of development and differentiation. What do Arte, Boulanger, EasyJet, Marmiton, Oskab... have in common that justifies the choice of orange for their logo? Why is Coca-Cola associated with red and Pepsi with blue? And why the black of Coca Cola Zero? What are the "girly" colours, those that are "male" or those that are gender-neutral? Which colours are luxury or "low cost"? Or which colour generates the most virality on Instagram?
Sabine Ruaud (PhD) is a Professor in the Marketing Department at EDHEC Business School. She is co-author of several books including « La couleur au cœur de la stratégie marketing » (De Boeck, 2016), awarded by the Académie des Sciences Commerciales and labelled by the Fnege. Her most recent research focuses on the influence of humorous colour naming on consumer behaviour. The results of her work have been presented at international conferences and published in academic journals.
