BCG-Boston Consulting Group and EDHECinfra - our world-class research center specialized in providing data to investors in unlisted infrastructure equity and private debt – have joined forces to launch a ground-breaking report entitled “Infrastructure Strategy 2022 – A Pivot to the Digital Frontier”.
To understand which peer group outperformed the market in 2021, sixteen groups of infrastructure investors have been analyzed, from Global Asset Managers and Asset Owners to US Pension Funds or Superannuation funds. Has the direct 'Canadian' model delivered compared to investors who chose to access infrastructure via fund managers? What happened to investors heavily exposed to airports after Covid-19 and does it still pay to invest in conventional merchant power?
This report details who tops the rankings of peer groups in four different categories - Global, Home base, Asset Owners, Asset Managers. Along with this global picture of the performance of key peer groups, it also provides the details of each peer group’s exposure to different types of infrastructure assets and the return contributions of each segment to these peer groups.
The presentation of this report is taking place in Berlin at the Global Infrastructure Summit on March 22, 2022 (5 pm – 6 pm, GMT time) by Frédéric Blanc-Brude, Director & CEO, EDHECinfra and Wilhelm Schmundt, Managing Director and Partner, Boston Consulting Group.
