EDHEC partners the INNOVA Europe competition
EDHEC Business School teamed up with two leading management schools in September - Polimi Graduate School of Management in Italy and ESMT Berlin in Germany – to launch the INNOVA Europe competition, with support from Microsoft Italia.
Conceived for students and alumni of the three institutions, this large-scale competition is geared to selecting an innovative entrepreneurial project focused on ESG issues and capable of responding to the United Nations sustainable development goals (SDGs). The winning team will receive a €5,000 prize and be able to choose from among the three institutions’ incubators to have their project developed for a year (working space plus access to a network of experts and mentors).
After applications were submitted between September and January, the three institutions chose the project due to represent their school at the final stage of the competition in Milan in June. EDHEC opted for Dooda, a start-up focused on producing natural insect-based ingredients, designed to feed humans, animals and plants. This ambitious project responds to at least four SDGs (the global fights against hunger and climate change, consumption and production of responsible products, and improvement in human health and well-being) and will receive support from EDHEC Entrepreneurs.
