EDHEC’s executive programmes continue to move up in the Financial Times business school rankings. In the most recent ranking, released May 20, EDHEC’s open-enrollment executive programmes placed 5th worldwide, and its custom executive programmes ranked 14th.

Yiyang Zhao joined EDHEC's Master in Management programme – Business Management track in 2020 and chose the MSc in Marketing Analytics as a specialisation in the second year of the master's degree. During her gap year, she interned at the global headquarters of L'Oréal and Pernod Ricard in Paris. She uses her spare time to learn shooting, horse riding, wine tasting, and to do road trips in Europe and North Africa.  

Meet Jeanne Romulus, a graduate from the Class of 2021 – Master in Management, Finance track. Inspired by the courses followed, she specialised in her final year in the MSc in Financial Markets, now known as the MSc in Financial Engineering. She had the pleasure of returning to EDHEC’s Nice campus to share insights into her successful career during an Alumni Insights Session – a monthly series of events where Alumni from the MSc in Financial Engineering share their career paths with the actual students of the programme.

EDHEC Business School’s Executive MBA has secured a place among the 30 best programmes in the world, according to The Financial Times EMBA 2023 ranking published today. The EDHEC EMBA moved up an impressive 19 places in this year’s ranking, reaching the #30 spot.

Hongxiang Deng joined EDEHC’s Master in Management, Finance Track in 2019, and chose the MSc in Corporate Finance and Banking as subdivision direction. Upon graduation, with excellent grades, he received the "Dean's List Top 5%" award. He recently embarked on his professional journey at Ernst & Young in Luxembourg.

Ziwei Wan joined EDHEC's MSc in Climate Change and Sustainable Finance in 2022. Here, he shares his student experience with us.

As part of the EDHEC membership of Inquire Europe, the PhD in Finance candidate (executive track), Galina Kalcheva, had the opportunity to attend the CQA Fall conference that was held in Chicago on 20 & 21 September 2023. She shares her experience with us. 

CEO of The Green Link, Bernard Lebelle graduated from EDHEC Business School in 1994. This semester, he has the pleasure to come back as an external lecturer to EDHEC’s Lille Campus to teach a module on automotive sustainability in the MSc Global and Sustainable Business.

Yan Qiao joined EDHEC's Master in Management, Finance Track in 2010, and chose Master of Science in Financial Engineering as a specialisation in the second year of postgraduate. After completing internships at AXA in Paris, France and BNP Paribas in Monaco, she was selected for the Goldman Sachs Management Trainee programme in London, UK, and is now working as the director of financing and loan in the private banking department of the company. Here, Qiao Yan shares her study and career experience with us.

One significant impact of the programme in my day-to-day work is that I am more careful about the robustness of the statistical analysis.

So far, among other things the programme has impacted my overall understanding of finance in general, since I am confronted with new and interesting questions and a vast literature that broadens perspectives on a variety of issues.

What I've found useful in the programme so far is that both the professors and students have a diverse range of research interests. This makes it essential to communicate your research clearly and concisely so that researchers from different backgrounds can appreciate it. This is a life-long skill and the programme offers a friendly environment in which to refine it.

The experience has been very positive. I have had the opportunity to make a host of new contacts from a diverse range of backgrounds, experiences, cultures and industries. The quality, experience and reputation of the permanent and visiting staff are big plus points.

I appreciated that the programme is designed for industry professionals because of its flexibility and a strong focus on research that is on the edge of academia and industry.

I also valued the fact that, unlike the students in many full-time PhD programmes having little or no practical experience, all the students in this programme have industry experience. This experience enhances classroom discussions, often improves the quality of the questions asked of professors, and enhances interaction among students outside the classroom. For me, this improves the learning...
