Since 2009, ECDC’s goal has been to promote urban culture among EDHEC’s 8000 students and in the Lille Metropolitan Area through its events all over the year.

  • The Urban Spring, an entire day dedicated to urban culture, where everyone can attend cultural and sportive performances, along with a market for small designers from the urban world. The event ends with a great concert from some of France’s finest emerging artists
  • The Beatmaking Masterclass : a conference held by a professional beatmaker (Binks Beatz, Nardey…)
  • The Rap Contenders between associations, a music video contest and rap battles between 20 of EDHEC’s student associations
  • The “Crossover” nights, Hip Hop parties for all students in Lille

Moreover, ECDC is also a media that puts the spotlight on urban culture through its Instagram account (@ecdc_us) that shares rap and streetwear actualities along with artists interviews.
