The plane is the fastest way to reach Nice but you will have to change several times of mean of transportation. To reach CDG airport, you will have to follow the itinerary below.
GOOD TO KNOW:
Book the train ticket from Paris Gare de Lyon to Nice through SNCF website. Other tickets must be purchased on arrival (in the shuttle and at the RER station).
For both the train and the plane options, you have to take a shuttle and then a train (tickets to be bought at the station) before reaching Paris Gare de Lyon train station for the train, and Paris CDG airport for the plane. It will be a bit challenging with your luggages.
The itinerary to be followed if you choose the plane option: Take a shuttle (ORLYVAL) towards Antony, get off at Antony station. Then take the RER B towards "Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV", get off at the terminus.
The itinerary to be followed if you choose the train option: Take a shuttle (ORLYVAL) towards Antony, get off at Antony station. Then take the RER B towards "Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV", get off at Châtelet-Les-Halles, finally take the RER A towards "Marne la Vallée - Chessy", get off at Paris Gare de Lyon.
SERVICE TRANSFER
A service transfer is available for every international students. An email including all the details and the booking survey will be sent in June. 2 pick-up meeting points are available at: Nice train station and Nice airport.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
If you did not register for the service transfer, you can plan your itinerary by visiting the Lignes d'Azur website, the public transportation's company of Nice.
Nice is a city where it is easy to get around. The campus is located 10 minutes away by public transportation from Nice city center, the heart of the city.
LIGNES D'AZUR is the public transportation company in the Nice Metropolis. On their website, you will find every information you may need about cycling, subway, tramway & buses (single ticket costs 1.70€).
