On September 11th, EDHEC welcomed the new class of its Lille and Paris Executive MBA, with participants from all over the world. This international dimension is one of the reasons this high-level program is now ranked amongst the best in its category, being featured in the Financial Times’ prestigious European Top 50.
Sharing a common desire to give their careers a boost, these executives and entrepreneurs have, this year, a more international profile than ever. Gabon, Romania, Ukraine, United Kingdom… 15 nationalities are represented overall, with foreign participants making up more than 30% of the group. All of them also come from a wide range of sectors and company types, from retail to healthcare and cosmetics, from multinational corporations to SMEs… and to entrepreneurs, who represent close to 20% of the participants. This invaluable diversity will surely make for interesting group dynamics and exchanges of ideas as the program moves forward.
To get to know each other better, both Paris and Lille EMBA groups participated together, for 4 days, in workshops about interpersonal communication techniques and the notion of resilience as applied to professional life. They also dived into key EMBA subjects with "Economy and Global Environment", a two-day seminar hosted by Serge Bésanger, PhD, associate professor at EDHEC.
"This global approach and our will to bring together a large diversity of profiles contribute to making EDHEC’s Executive MBA a prestigious program, ranked amongst the 50 best in Europe," Denis Dauchy, PhD, Professor of Strategy and Director of EDHEC’s Executive MBA in Lille.
The EMBA program, a symbol of EDHEC’s accelerated development
To welcome these professionals coming from very different backgrounds, Philippe Foulquier, PhD, Professor of Finance and Director of EDHEC’s Executive MBA in Paris, talked about the specificities of the EDHEC model and the school’s incredible development, which saw the number of students increase tenfold over the past 30 years, from 700 to more than 7,000. "This spectacular progress is also qualitative, he explained. Ranked 14th best business school in Europe by the Financial Times, EDHEC is now in the big league! Its Executive Education programs are featured in the most prestigious international rankings." Besides, one of EDHEC’s current priorities is to develop “EDHEC for business for students”, putting student and participant experience more than ever at the heart of its concerns. The guarantee, for EMBA professionals, to live an exceptional human and academic adventure.
