On Wednesday 18 September 2024 in Paris, EDHEC Business School was awarded the ‘Educate’ prize at the Talent Awards 2024, a ceremony dedicated to entrepreneurship and created by France Digitale, Europe's largest start-up association, in conjunction with the newspaper Les Echos.

For the past 12 years, the Talent Awards have been one of the highlights of France Digitale Day, an event created by France Digitale that brings together 4,500 people, including startup founders, investors and other key players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The day's activities include conferences, round tables, workshops and networking sessions. The Talent Awards, which close the FDDay, recognise the most promising start-ups and entrepreneurs in categories such as technological innovation, social impact and economic growth.

This year, France Digitale has introduced a new category, Educate, which rewards the French school or university offering an innovative programme designed to train the next generation of entrepreneurs. EDHEC was awarded the prize, which was presented by Frédéric Mazzella, founder of BlaBlaCar and co-president of France Digitale, and Charlie Perreau, editor-in-chief of the ‘Tech-Médias-Start-up’ section of Les Echos. The award highlights the school's ability to promote the entrepreneurial spirit and associated skills among all its students. The award also recognises EDHEC's commitment to training all its students, whether entrepreneurs or not, in a responsible approach to entrepreneurship, using the Responsible by Design, developed EDHEC Entrepreneurs.

Finally, the jury was particularly impressed by EDHEC's forward-looking vision of entrepreneurship, particularly through the projects included in its new strategic plan, Générations 2050. This plan aims to accelerate the RED approach and promote a European model of more responsible start-ups. To achieve this, the RED method is being integrated into all the school's incubation and pre-incubation programmes, and is being made available as an open source to all entrepreneurs.
