A unique opportunity to support the launch and expansion of a pioneering venture in climate risk ratings, empowering investors and issuers with science-based ratings of climate risk financial materiality.

Position overview

As a Climate Content Producer/Editor, you will report directly to the Head of Marketing at our Climate Risk Ratings Agency and will be pivotal in crafting and disseminating content that highlights the importance, purpose, and methodologies of our work. Your role will involve producing regular, compelling content that educates and engages our audience, showcasing the value of our climate risk ratings and reinforcing our brand position as a leader in the field.

Main Responsibilities

1. Content Development and Strategy Execution:

  • Develop a consistent editorial calendar to deliver weekly content across multiple platforms, emphasizing the relevance and impact of our climate risk assessments.
  • Create diverse content forms, including articles, blog posts, white papers, and video scripts, that align with our strategic goals and increase our audience’s understanding of climate risk.
  • Collaborate with climate experts and analysts within the agency to ensure content accuracy and relevancy, and with the marketing to refine content based on market trends and audience feedback.

2. Engagement and Education:

  • Produce informative and persuasive content that explains why our climate risk ratings are essential, how they are developed, and what differentiates our approach.
  • Participate in industry conferences and webinars, either as a speaker or observer, to stay current on climate risk topics and gather insights for content updates.
  • Enhance audience engagement through clear, actionable, and thought-provoking content that drives conversations around climate risk and sustainability.

3. Digital Presence and Analytics:

  • Manage the content distribution through our digital platforms including our website, social media, and email newsletters to maximize reach and impact, and utilize analytics tools to track content performance and user engagement, adjusting strategies as needed to improve visibility and impact.

 

 

Requirements for the Role

  • Master’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in content creation or journalism, preferably with a focus on climate change, sustainability, or related scientific fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret scientific data and translate it into accessible, engaging content.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, content marketing, social media strategies, and analytics tools.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English is a must; additional languages are a plus.
  • A proactive, creative editorial mindset with a passion for environmental issues and sustainable development.
