How are Executive MBA Rankings Calculated? - The QS Ranking Methodology 

Key MBA ranking organisations conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments, considering key indicators and performance metrics. While the indicators used may differ slightly, they all provide insights into the post-graduation prospects of Executive MBA programmes. Higher-ranked institutions often indicate superior academic standards, exceptional faculty, and a robust network of alumni and industry connections. 

The QS ranking takes into account data submitted by academic institutions as well as input from thought leaders in business and management. Business school metrics are supplemented by surveys to establish relative employer and academic reputation, which account for more than 50% of the overall evaluation. Survey responses cover a span of five years, with more recent years carrying greater weight.

The ranking also considers: 

• Career Outcomes: measured by the average salary increase and the percentage of graduates receiving promotions within 12 months of graduating 

• Diversity in terms of gender and nationality within each cohort 

• Executive Profile: calculated by examining the average years of overall work experience, average years of managerial-level work experience, and the percentage of the class with C-suite experience
