Venue : UNIL campus. This annual conference is co-organised by Tilburg University, EDHEC Business School, Lausanne University and Paris Dauphine-PSL University, in partnership with Campbell Lutyens and Remaco.

The DataViz Challenge, an annual event that brings together students from across Europe to showcase their data visualisation skills, took place end of May with an exciting final round. Co-founded five years ago by Sandra Richez, Global MBA Director at EDHEC Business School, and Professor Yvan Fornes, the challenge aims to cultivate data skills among students while emphasising the positive impact data can have on society. This year's winner is Federica Pinza, a student pursuing a Double Degree at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC) and Dublin City University (DCU).  

A GRASFI PhD workshop in sustainable finance was hosted at EDHEC Business School, organized by EDHEC, Université Paris-Dauphine, HEC Liège and Maastricht University. The workshop took place in-person in EDHEC Paris Campus on 2-3 April 2024.

On June 28, 2024, from 10 am to 7 pm, the EDHEC Family Business Chair is organising, in partnership with Poclain, its 3rd financial forum on the theme of "Innovation Management in Family Businesses",

From 6 March to 3 April, either online or face-to-face in Paris, Bertrand Monnet (EDHEC) will be speaking every Wednesday evening from 7pm to 9pm as part of the Ateliers du Monde series (in French). This partnership between EDHEC and Le Monde is a continuation of the "Narco Business" series published at the end of 2023.

Riccardo Rebonato, EDHEC Professor and EDHEC-Risk Climate Scientific Director, and Dherminder Kainth, EDHEC-Risk Climate Research Director, have just published a white paper entitled “Climate Scenario Analysis and Stress Testing for Investors: A Probabilistic Approach”. A GRASFI PhD workshop in sustainable finance will be hosted at EDHEC Business School, organized by EDHEC, Université Paris-Dauphine, HEC Liège and Maastricht University. The workshop will take place in-person in EDHEC Paris Campus on 2-3 April 2024.

On January 11, 2024, the EDHEC Global MBA cohort, representing 30 nationalities, gathered in Paris for an 8 hour Hackathon with corporate partners from different industries, followed by a round-table entitled “Leading in an AI-powered world”, and a networking cocktail.

Meet Charlotte Groenen, a 2022 Graduate from Maastricht University with a Double Degree with EDHEC Business School in Corporate Finance & Banking. She had the pleasure of returning to EDHEC’s Nice campus to teach students about sustainable investing during the Alumni Insights session – a series of events where Alumni from the MSc in Corporate Finance & Banking address a special topic with the students of the programme.  

Wednesday 6 December saw Florent Ménégaux, CEO of Michelin, visit EDHEC Business School’s Lille campus to deliver a talk on “Responsibility, Economic Growth, Innovation” and to exchange with the School’s students. 

Hager Jemel-Fornetty, Associate Professor at EDHEC and Director of the Diversity & Inclusion Chair, will be speaking on 6 December at 11.30am on the subject of "Proposing a tool for measuring gender parity in scripted video games". This conference is being organised at the Maison de la Recherche de la Sorbonne Nouvelle.

On December 6 and 7 2023, the EDHEC Infrastructure & Private Assets Research Institute organizes its annual in-person event in London for investment professionals.

Marie Legrand and Virginie Marx, EDHEC alumni from classes of 2021 and 2022, earned a double degree in Finance – Master in Management, Finance and MSc in Financial engineering. They both secured positions in credit trading at JP Morgan. They recently had the pleasure of sharing their professional experiences and insights into CDS Index and HY trading with students enrolled in the MSc in Financial Engineering during the Alumni Insights events - a series of events organised by the graduate finance programme, where Alumni share their career paths. 

On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, Riccardo Rebonato, EDHEC Professor and EDHEC-Risk Climate Impact Institute Scientific Director, is giving an online lecture (4 pm GMT) based on his paper “Asleep at the Wheel? The Risk of Sudden Price Adjustments” (2023), forthcoming in The Journal of Portfolio Management.

After having completed a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and worked at an American e-learning firm, Chinmay Patil chose EDHEC Business School to upgrade is managerial skills and make a career transition. Hesitating between two programmes, his choice landed on the Global Master in Management track - GETT. 

Early 2022, the EDHEC Business School launched a new online monthly speaker series to address the most recent advances in the financial industry and discuss how finance can be a powerful tool for tackling key economic and social challenges. On September 27, 2023, the researchers of the EDHEC Infrastructure & Private Assest Research Institute invite you to a webinar, based on their latest report "It's getting physical" (August 2023), on the impact of climate events on infrastructure valuations: investors could indeed lose more than half of their unlisted infrastructure portfolio before 2050.
